Business Ideas Follow Up

In a previous "post":http://alexpooley.com/articles/2005/11/09/heres-some-internet-business-opportunities I mentioned three business opportunities for the taking. Today "AggregateKnowledge":http://www.aggregateknowledge.com/ have announced they are going to create a platform that will facilitate the sharing and aggregation of knowledge between independent web sites. Initially they are looking to create a recommendation web service similar to Amazon's recommendation service, but where the service is an aggregation of recommendations from various sources. You can read "Chris Law's blog":http://1000flowersbloom.typepad.com/1000_flowers_bloom/2005/11/aggregate_knowl.html or "Paul Martino's blog":http://wsfinder.typepad.com/web_service_finder/2005/11/aggregate_knowl.html for further details. My primary concerns were whether there was enough demand for the service, and what type of business model could work with this service. I can't find any hints to either of my concerns in their blogs. Another concern I have after paging through their site is that it's hard to 1) Describe the concept succinctly and 2) To provide adequate infrastructure where it's easy for _anyone_ to use this service on their site. Regardless, this is a cool idea and it's great they're taking a chance. I wish these guys the best of luck.
