"Here's":http://www.informationweek.com/news/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=175007155 some interesting statistics regarding current Internet usage. A couple of appertisers: "_Riding the wave of popularity for its iTunes music site, Apple Computer's Web traffic grew 57 percent year-over-year for November, Nielsen//NetRatings reported Tuesday._" A note about Apple - Christmas will see a stack of MP3 players sold and most of these will be Apple's. More importantly though, the more MP3 players Apple sells the more music and videos they will sell through iTunes. Apple are absolutely sizzling. and this also from the article... "_The most dramatic results, however, were logged in the Web brands category where Nielsen//NetRatings found that visitors between age 12 and 24 were flocking to those sites in growing numbers._" With "those sites" being popular sites that continually release new products and services. Thinking of starting a venture? You should seriously look to target the 12-24 bracket. Go fishing where there are fish! In my case I wasn't sure where to pitch my venture, but this stat and supporting stuff I've read before have pushed me to pitch to this age group.
