Sigh.
Google have come out with a new chat application, and 37Signals are bringing out a new chat application. Meanwhile, I have half a chat application sitting in my repository that I have been working on pretty hard for a while now. In fact, I’m meeting with my designer friend tomorrow for the first time to discuss the visual presentation of the application. Sigh. I guess chat is always going to be heavily contested but more competition doesn’t help! Anyway, I’m _hoping_ to shift the chat paradigm and take the risks the big boys can’t take. I’ll plough through with what I have and see how I go. For the curious, I’m looking to release around the middle of this year (after my wedding and honeymoon).
