"Apple beats expectations and are well on track to kick some arse this year.":http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/060110/apple_macworld.html?.v=4
It's 4:50am my time, so 10 minutes until market close, and everyone is still jostling for position in Apple stock. The fact that Apple have sold 14 million iPods - which is 50% of the total Apple sold previously - during the Christmas quarter _alone_ says enough for me.
Apple sold 22.5 million units last year. They saw a 409% increase in iPod sales during 2004-2005.
But that's not all, the future for Apple will see _way_ faster laptops and iMacs. Laptops make up an important part of Apple's balance sheet contributing about $3 billion out of the $12 billion sales last year. iPods contributed $4.5 billion.
Anyway, I'm going to bed. I hope you were all in that trade with me!
